St. George celebrated on Banovo Brdo

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch served yesterday, when our Holy Church celebrated the Restoration of the church of St. George, the Divine Liturgy in the church devoted to Holy Great Martyr George on Banovo Brdo.

His Holiness was concelebrated by protopresbyter-staurophor Branko Mitrovic - hierarchal deputy of Belgrade-Posavina, protopresbyter-staurophor Milojko Topalovic, protopresbyter-staurophor Caslav Marinkovic, archpriest Vitomir Kostic, protodeacon Dr Damjan Bozic and deacon Savo Topalovic with chanting of the church choir.

Yesterday's feast day was a slava of  the church choir and the church kindergarten Djurdjevak (Lily-of-the-valley), which works at this church.

After the service all the present joined the table of love in the parish house.
