St. Nicholas Day at the monastery of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos

With the blessing of His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, vicar Bishop Jovan of Lipljan served on the feast day of St. Nicholas the Divine Liturgy in the church of the Protection of Most Holy Theotokos in Belgrade.

His Grace Bishop was concelebrated by priests and deacons from the brotherhood of this holy church, while other priests chanted with the students of theology.

Pious people who fulfilled the church prayerfully participated in the service and listened to the sermon of Bishop Jovan.

In afternoon hours His Grace Bishop Jovan visited Mr. Milinko Stefanovic, the doyen of photography and the founder of the Serbian photographic society, at his home. The Bishop expressed words of thanksgiving to Mr. Stefanovic for the effort he invested through photographs to inform the public here and abroad with the suffering of the Serbian people and its sacred places in Kosovo and Metohija in 1999.
