St. Nicholas in Philadelphia Celebrates is Patronal Feast Day

On Sunday May 21st, St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church of Greater Philadelphia joyously celebrated Its patronal feast day of the Transfer of the relics of St. Nicholas. Prior to the conclusion of Divine Liturgy, the clergy and faithful went in procession around the church. At the conclusion of the gestalt procession, the Slavski kolach and koljivo were blessed at the entrance of the church.

Kumovi for this year's Krsna Slava were Milorad and Jelena Neskovic with their children Marko, Nikola and Nada, and Dr. Djuradj and Marina Stakic. A magnificent luncheon was provided by the kumovi for all present. The dignity of kumovi for next year's Krsna Slava was accepted by Slobodan and Domenika Janikic.
