St. Vitus Day in Lazarica celebrated
On St. Vitus day, June 28, 2012, Bishop David of Krusevac served the Divine Liturgy in Lazarica church with the concelebration of priests and deacons of the Diocese of Krusevac. After the Holy Liturgy the memorial service was served in Lazarica church from where the procession with the relics of Holy Prince Lazar went to the Monument to the Kosovo Heroes where the memorial service was served for the suffered soldiers and military leaders from Kosovo until today.
The procession with the relics of Holy Prince Lazar went through streets towards Bagdala, a hill above Krusevac, where the Cross was placed and on which place the future church will be built. Later the procession went to the place where after the Second World War communist killed the prominent citizens of Krusevac and soldiers of Yugoslav Army in Fatherland. There the memorial service for all the innocently killed by the hand of non-believers.
