St. Vitus Day prayerfully celebrated in Djurdjevi Stupovi Monastery

His Grace Bishop Joanikije of Budimlje-Niksic served on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 on the feast day of Holy Martyr Prince Lazar and all Serbian martyrs - the St. Vitus Day, the Divine Liturgy in the Djurdjevi Stupovi Monastery.

His Grace Bishop was concelebrated with many priests and monks of the Diocese of Budimlje-Niksic, and the service was followed by chanting of a choir of St. mother Anastasia. The gathered people was greeted by the Bishop who also held a sermon on the figure of St. Price Lazar.
During the Liturgy a requiem service for Saint Prince Lazar and all Kosovo's heroes, martyrs and new martyrs since the Battle of Kosovo until today was served.
