Sunday of Life-giving Cross in Vranje

On Sunday of the Life-Giving Cross, on March 18, 2012 His Grace Bishop Pahomije of Vranje served the Holy Liturgy in the church of Sts. Apostles Peter and Paul in Bujanovac, and in th evening of the Sunday of the Holy Cross Bishop Pahomije attended the evening service and brought the Holy and Life-Giving Cross to be worshipped by faithful people in the Cathedral church of Holy Trinity in Vranje.

Following the end of the Liturgy, the Bishop visited the church devoted to Sts. Emperor Constantine and Empress Helen in the village of Veliki Trnovac and the church of St. mother Paraskeva in the village of Lucane, which are frequent targets of bad neighbours, who are in the villages in which Serbs have not been living for many years (in Veliki Trnovac since 1963 and in Lucane since 1999).
