Sunday of Orthodoxy marked in Sidney
The Sunday of Orthodoxy also this year was solemnly marked in Sidney with Inter-Orthodox concelebration of the Sunday vesper service at the Greek church of Saint Nicholas in Marrickville.
His Eminence Archbishop Stylianos of Australia (Ecumenical Patriarchate) officiated, while Bishop Irinej of the Metropolitanate of Australia and New Zealand (Serbian Orthodox Church) and Vicar Bishop Seraphim of Apolonia (Ecumenical Patriarchate) and lots of priests of the Ecumenical, Serbian and Antiochian Patriarchate concelebrated to the Archbishop. The church of Saint Nicholas in Marrickville, one of the greatest churches in Sidney, was filled with faithful people of different nations and languages, but of the common faith.
