Support for the peace and stability of the society
On the occasion of the foundation day of the Police of the Republic of Srpska and the 25th anniversary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Srpska, His Grace Bishop Athanasije of Bihac-Petrovac attended a ceremony in Banski Dvor in Banja Luka on the 4th of April 2017.
Bishop Athanasije congratulated the jubilee to Mr. Dragan Lukac, Minister of Interiors, and all the members of the Ministry of Interiors, and wished them a successful work in maintaining peace, security and stability of the society.
Apart from the highest officials of the Republic of Srpska, the festal Academy was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, the Russian Federation, Slovenia, Austria, the USA, Italy, Sweden; representatives of the Ministry of Defense, and other institutions. Bishop Athanasije met with the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Serbia Mr. Zoran Djordjevic and a representative of the Swedish police.
