Transfiguration of the Lord in Diocese of Vranje

On Friday, August 19, 2011, on the feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord, in all churches of the Orthodox Diocese of Vranje Holy Liturgies were served.

Solemn was in places where are the churches dedicated to this feast day: Kozji Dol,  municipality of Trgoviste, a village of Transfiguration, the municipality of Vranje and a village of Stubal, the municipality of Vladicin Han.

At the Cathedral church of Holy Trinity in Vranje, the Holy Hierarchal LIturgy was served by His Grace Bishop Pahomije of Vranje with the concelebration of priests from Vranje. In the church many believers gathered in order to celebrate this great holiday in a liturgical community.

After the prayer, the Bishop Pahomije of Vranje consecrated and blessed the grapes, which was then given to the believers.
