Visit of German Ambassador to Diocese of Nis

His Grace Bishop Jovan of Nis met with His Excellency Heinz Wilhelm, the ambassador of Germany in Serbia on 15 March 2013 at the church of Saint Panteleimon in Nis. During the one-hour cordial talk they exchanged important views on history of the Church, the significance of the diocese of Nis in history and today and discussed the further plan for the celebration of the 1700th anniversary of the Edict of Milan, as well as about the contribution of Germany to this celebration.

At the end of the visit, Bishop Jovan handed over presents to Ambassador Wilhelm and wished him successful future work in diplomatic activities between two Christian countries. Ambassador expressed his warm gratitude for the hospitality and his readiness to visit the Church and the Serbian people in this part of Serbia upon the invitation of the Bishop.
