Visit of Minister Vuk Jeremic to the Serbian Patriarchate

His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia has received today, on March 1, 2010 in a working visit Mr. Vuk Jeremic, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia. The meeting was attended by His Grace Bishop Irinej of Bachka, member of the Holy Synod of Bishops of the SOC, and His Grace Vicar Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno.

Minister Jeremic has informed His Holiness and Their Graces Bishops on his recent visit to His Holiness Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople and about preliminary plans regarding forthcoming celebration of the seventeen-hundredth anniversary of the Edict of Milan, in 2013, in Nish and in other places in the christian world. Minister has informed his hosts also about diplomatic activities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia regarding efforts for preserving the south province of Serbia, as well as the situation in the region.ситуацији у региону.
