The Diocesan Council held a session in Zagreb

The Patriarch in Zagreb celebrated the second great Vigil service, when he read Akathist to the Most Holy Mother of God.

His Holiness Porfirije, Serbian Patriarch, the administrator fo the Diocese of Zagreb-Ljubljana served a prayer of supplication in the Cathedral church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Zagreb before the regular annual session of the Diocesan Council.

After the end of the prayer of supplication, the Patriarch addressed the members of the Council.

At the session of the Council chaired by His Holiness Patriarch, several important decisions were made concerning the life of the Church in the Diocese of Zagreb-Ljubljana. The members of the council summarized the diocesan activities in the past year and saw the challenges they face in the forthcoming period..

The day before,  the Patriarch served the second great Vigil service, at which he read the first article of the Akathist to the Most Holy Mother of God,  in the Cathedral church in Zagreb,on April 16, 2021,
