Another church burglarized in Kosovo and Metochia
The Raško-Prizrenska Eparchy announced that the church, dedicated to Sv. Jovan (St. John) is located in Ranilug.
Priest Aca Đurić says that passers-by noticed that the burglary was in progress last evening. "They were passing by the church when they heard heavy thumps on the church door," KiM Radio reported Đurić as saying.
The thief then ran away without having had time to rob the temple or harm it in any other way, but the southern door on the church was damaged. Kosovo police, KPS, conducted an investigation at the scene after being alerted to the incident. This is the fourth attack on Orthodox temples in the Kosovo Pomoravlje region in the past month.
