Archbishop Jovan of Ohrid participates in the international Science Conference in Veria, Greece

His Eminence Archbishop Jovan of Ohrid and Metropolitan of Skopje,asked by the Holy Synod of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church, participated in the XV International Science Conference Pavlia which is being held each year in Veria, in Greece, from June 25-28, 2009. This year a theme of the conference was: Family - Paul`s theology and
the contemporary insight.

The conference was opened by His Eminence Archbishop Hieronimos of Athens and all Greece, and at the opening bishops and delegations of
all Orthodox Churches were present. At the Holy Liturgy which was served yesterday, on June 28, 2009, also Bishop Marko of Bregalnica from the Archbishopric of Ohrid participated. The conference has been concluded today with the Holy Liturgy of all representatives of all Orthodox Churches, on the day of Apostles Peter and Paul, and an evening service the same day at the altar of Apostle Paul, which is located in the downtown Veria.
