Bishop Atanasije served Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in Prishtina

His Grace Bishop Atanasije of served on March 6. 2010 Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in a newly renovated church of St. Nicholas in Prishtina with the concelebration of Bishop Teodosije and many priests from the local Diocese and other Dioceses of the SOC. Among those who served there were hieromonk Pajsije, head of Trnava Monastery near Chachak, protopresbyter Vladan Simic, secretary of the Diocese of Bachka, hieromonk German from Jezevica Monastery, as well as protopresbyter Radivoje Panic from Belgrade.

This is the second Liturgy that has been served in the St. Nicholas church since March 2004, when the church was torched. About thirty faithful partook the Holy Bread at the Liturgy. In the restored Prishtina church Bishop Atanasije spoke about the importance of St. Nicholas for the whole Christian world, and for every Christian individually.

Vicar Bishop Teodosije addressed the faithful from Prishtina after the Liturgy and thanked them they found a strength to come despite the cold weather to the church.
