Celebration of the feast day of St. Jovan Vladimir in the Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral

His Eminence Amfilohije Archbishop of Cetinje and Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral served on the feast day of St. Jovan Vladimir the Serbian king the Divine Liturgy on the foundations of the church at Precista Krajinska in Ostros.

Also this year at Precista Krajinska there were representatives of our people who live in Albania, gathered in the Association of the Serbo-Montenegrin national minority "Moraca-Rozafa" from Shkoder, led by the president of the association Pavle Brajovic, who handed on this occasion to protopresbyter Radomir Nikcevic, the head of the cabinet of Metropolitan Amfilohije, the letter of thanks for "the promotion and spitirual help to the Serbo-Montenegrin minority in Albania"  

Following his visit to monastery of Ribnjak near Bar, Bishop Amfilohije participated in the afternoon in the promotion of  "Jovan's Rumija", the poetry book consisting of seventy songs on the church of St. Trinity on Rumija and about St. Jovan Vladimir. 

Metropolitan Amfilohije and Their Graces Bishops: Joanikije of Budimlje-Niksic, Teodosije of Raska-Prizren and newly-appointed Bishop Jovan (Puric) (former Bishop of Dioclea) led the solemn procession in the afternoon hours which was in the glory and honour of Serbian Holy King Jovan Vladimir went through the streets of Bar.
