Children’s Gathering in Dobrinovina Monastery

His Grace Joanikije, Bishop of Budimlje-Niksic, visited participants of the children's gathering held in the Dobrilovina Monastery on September 30, 2018, on the feast of the Holy Martyrs Faith, Hope and Love and their mother Sofia.

The Holy Liturgy in this monastery was served as by the clergy of the Diocese of Budimlje-Niksic. The faithful people of that region attended the holy service together with the youngest participants in the gathering from Bijelo Polje, Mojkovac and Zabljak.

The traditional children's gathering, the fifth in a series, which had been instituted by the competent Bishop Joanikija, is  traditionally held on the first Saturday after the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, was this time blessed by archpriest-stavrophor Darko Pejić, bishop’s dean of Bijelo Polje, thanking Mother Macrina,  abbess of the Monastery of Dobrilovina, and to all who make efforts to organize such children's gatherings  in the Diocese of Budimlje-Nikšić.

A cultural and artistic program was conducted, when children who attend religious education and church choirs from Bijelo Polje, Zabljak and Mojkovac participated. The gathered children, their parents, priests and teachers received blessings from His Grace Bishop Joanikije.
