On the stand of the Publishing Fund of the SOC Archbishopric of Belgrade-Karlovac in the hall no. 4 of the Belgrade Book Fair yesterday three works of Serbian Patriarch Pavle were presented: Interview I, Interview II and Woman in Orthodox Church. About these significant publications were spoken by His Grace Bishop David of Krusevac and protoprebyter-staurophor Vladimir Vukasinovic, editor in chief of the Publishing Fund of the SOC.

Jubilee of the choir Collegium musicum

The academic choir Collegium musicum, led by the conducter Darinka Matic Marovic, within Bemus, held a concert on Kolarac. During 40 years of the existence, the choir held premiers of more than 200 compositions.

Within the marking of the 40th anniversary of the existence, the academic choir Collegium musicum last night, within 43rd Bemus, held a concert in the hall of Kolarac endownment. 

The conducter Darinka Matic, these days  practiced with the choir like on the first day, when the creation of the institution Collegium musicum began.

A four-volume work of Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro and the Littoral was presented yesterday at the press conference in the Belgrade's Media Centre, as well as at a well attended promotion at the Kolarac Endowment.

The famed vocal chamber ensemble Cappella Romana  will sing the responses during Great Vespers and Divine Liturgy for the Feast of the Archangels in our Three Hierarchs Chapel. We warmly welcome our friends and neighbors to celebrate with us and to hear the solemn beauty of this choral group, which travels throughout the world. Great Vespers will be celebrated at 5 p.m. on Monday, November 7; Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, November 8.

Festival of Religious Music in Moscow

The Festival of Religious Music will begin at the Moscow Church of the “Joy to All the Afflicted” icon of the Mother of God on 14 October, the feast day of the Intercession of the Mother of God. The opening is timed to coincide with the feast that enjoys a special esteem in Russia and with the commemoration day of St. Romanos the Melodus, a patron of singers and of the art of religious music.
