The Feast of St. Gregorios of Parumala ( the first cannonized Indian Saint) was celebrated with a spirit of unity by the Oriental Orthodox Churches in Dallas at St Gregorios Orthodox Church in Garland under the leadership of Rev. Fr. C.G. Thomas. Priests, deacons, and faithful from St. Mary’s Coptic Orthodox Church in Colleyville, St Mary’s Coptic Orthodox Church in Euless, St Philopateer Coptic Orthodox Church in Richardson, and St Sarkis Armenian Orthodox Church in Carrollton all joined in the celebration of the feast of St Gregorios on November 1st, 2014. It was a taste of the Kingdom when all cultures will be gathered before the throne of God worshipping in unity of spirit and faith.

UNESCO experts to consider the chances of restoring Kremlin historical image including its two monasteries

UNESCO experts arrive in Moscow to consider possibilities of restoring Kremlin historical appearance including the Chudov and Ascension monasteries on its territory.

Experts started inspecting the Kremlin territory, a source in the Culture Ministry told Interfax.

UNESCO expertise is a compulsory condition for starting such restoration works as Kremlin is the object of the World cultural heritage.

President of the Russian Federation visited today Belgrade, where he met with President of the Republic of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic and Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic. Serbian Patriarch Irenaeus and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin met today at the Palace Serbia in Belgrade, in front of which the military parade had been held on the occasion of the centennial since the beginning of the World War One and the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the capital of Serbia, Belgrade, in the Second World War.

Catholicos of All Armenians received the President of the Republic of Serbia

  On October 12, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received the President of the Republic of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic who was in Armenia for an official state visit. The President was accompanied by the Republic of Armenia Foreign Affairs Minister Edward Nalbandian.

Welcoming the visit of the President of Serbia to the Republic of Armenia and the spiritual center of All Armenians; His Holiness expressed his satisfaction on the joint steps being undertaken towards expansion and development of inter-state relations. His Holiness stressed that the President’s visit strengthens the foundations of cooperation and friendship between the two peoples, and the two states.

Thanks to our numerous partners, individual and corporate donors, the Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation began and carried out reconstruction projects, with a total value of 1.2 million USD, less than three months after the catastrophic floods in May. These projects enabled normal living, educational and working conditions for more than 4,500 people in flooded areas.
