Formal Peaceful Visit to the Ecumenical Patriarchate

His Beatitude the Archbishop of Athens and all Greece Hieronymus II will be on a Formal Peaceful Visit to the Ecumenical Patriarchate, from May 9 to May 12, 2008. The Formal Doxology for the reception of His Beatitude will be held on Friday9/5/2008 at 11.30 a.m. at the Patriarchal Church of St. George.

After the Doxology His Beatitude will go to the Throne Room where formal addresses will be delivered. On Saturday, May 10th, at 10.00 a.m. the two Church representatives will meet to discuss, while in the afternoon at 17.30 p.m. they will attend the Vesper at the Church of St. George of the Andrianoupoli's Gate.

His Beatitude will end his visit with a Service, on the occasion of the celebration of Myrofores, along with the Patriarch at the Patriarchal and Stavropigi Monastery of Zoodohos Pigi Valoukli, on Sunday, May 11th, 2008.

His Beatitude will be accompanied by Most Reverent Mr Prokopios, Mr Theoklitos, Mr Chrisostomos, Mr Alexios and other Church officials.
