Solemnly celebrated a donator's Patron Saint's Day of the monastery of Visoki Dechani

The feast day of Holy King Stefan Dechanski - a donator's Patron Saint's Dat of the Laura of Dechani was solemnly celebrated with the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy served by Bishop Joanikije of Budimlje and Niksic with the concelebration of Bishop Grigorije of Zahumlje-Herzegovina, Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren and more than thirty priests. 

In a full monastery church there were more than 400 believers from all parts of Serbia and Montenegro. Bishop Joanikije cut the slava cake and greeted the believers who traveled long to come here.

At the Holy Liturgy there were a few invitees: Minister for Kosovo and Metohia Mr. Goran Bogdanovic, Minister of Faith Prof. Dr. Bogoljub Sijakovic, representatives of the international offices in Pristina and representatives of the KFOR. Besides monks of Dechani at the Liturgy also a group of believers from the Orthodox Church of Albania also chanted who traditionally came to share the joy of the holiday with the brotherhood of Dechani.

Later Bishop Teodosije with his brothers prepared the slava lunch in a great monastery dinning room.
