Four Centuries of Light

In late afternoon hours on 18 August 2015, His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, was solemnly welcomed at the Krka Monastery of Holy Archangel Michael.

After the solemn feast day’s Vesper service in the monastery church in prayerful presence of bishops, priests, monks and faithful people of Dalmatia, His Holiness Irinej delivered san opening  address at the solemn academy on the occasion of four centuries since the founding of the Seminary of Holy Three Hierarchs.

The program of the solemn academy was enriched with movie inserts about the history of Christianity in Dalmatia, the choir of the School of the Church Singing Saint John of Damascus from Novi Sad, ethno-group White Canvas, drama artists Milena Jaksic, Sergej Trifunovic and Milos Stankovic and soprano Jelena Radovanovic. The solemn academy ended with a lecture given by His Grace Bishop Fotije of Dalmatia.
