Artists from Serbia who participated at the International festival of folk art and craft UGRA2012 in Siberia, achieved great success representing the traditions and culture of our country. The Serbian delegation at this festival, which was founded seven years ago, was led by academician artist and icon painter Vladimir Cetkovic from Belgrade, and it was also consisted of Irena Gvozdenovic, higher custodian of the Ethnographic museum in Belgrade, and Slavica Ciric, director of the Pirot rug production Cooperative.

Cetkovic's Serbian icons and icon paintings received the first award for painting on wood, and the Pirot rug received the award of this eminent festival.

The sponsors of the festival were UNESCO and UGRA, the autonomous okrug (county) of the town of Khanty-Mansiysk.
