150th anniversary of Constantine Cavafy's birth

On April 11, 2013, a four-day conference commemorating the 150th anniversary of Constantine Cavafy's birth commenced with a welcome and reading by His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.
The secondary school conference was organized by the Zografeion and Mandoulides Schools under the auspices of the Ecumenical Patriarchate. In attendance were over 150 high school students from Greece, Cyprus, Egypt and Turkey.
After the Divine Liturgy at the Phanar on Sunday, April 14, 2013, the conference officially concluded and His All-Holiness thanked the participants for making a pilgrimage to the Mother Church of Constantinople.
