Luxembourg: Exhibition of the works of students of the Academy of the Serbian Orthodox Church

Bishop Luka of Western Europe and Jean-Claude Larchet opened the exhibition of works of the students of the Academy of Arts of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Luxembourg.

With the blessing of Bishop Luka of Western Europe, an exhibition of the works of the students of the Academy for Arts and Conservation in Belgrade, copies of  earlier Christian artifacts, was opened in the Center Convict in Luxembourg on 9 June 2013.

At the beginning of the opening ceremony,  director of the Centre, Dr. Wolfgang Fleckenstein, thanked Rev. Zoran Radivojevic for the idea to organize an exhibition of Orthodox mosaics and frescoes in the premises of the Center.

Also priest Zoran Radivojevic and Jean-Claude Larchet addressed the audience. Bishop Luka blessed the gathered and solemnly opened the exhibition.

Protopresbyter-staurophor Dr. Radimir Popovic will deliver a lecture on early Christianity in the territory of Serbia in the Luxembourg’s Center Convict on Thursday, 13 June 2013, on the Feast of the Ascension.

The exhibition will last until Friday, 14 June 2013.
