Sremska Kamenica: The prayer of supplication for Serbian people and their shrines in Montenegro

On 23rd of February 2020 a few thousand of faithful people supported their Montenegrin brothers and sisters in the prayer of supplication in the church-yard of the church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos in Sremska Mitrovica, officiated by His Grace Basil the Bishop of Srem concelebrating with the principal of the Orthodox Seminary of Cetinje protopresbyter-staurophor Gojko Perovic, Bishop’s dean protopresbyter-staurophor Gavra Milanovic, principal of the Orthodox Seminary in Sremski Karlovci protopresbyter Jovan Milanovic, deacon Goran Vlasac and clergy of the Diocese of Srem.

His Holiness Patriarch Irinej and a delegation of the Serbian Orthodox Church were welcomed on behalf of the host, His Beatitude Patriarch Teophilos III of Jerusalem and All Palestine, by Their Eminences hierarchs Benedict and Christopher, Archimandrite Raphael, Benedict and Athanasius, and Cross-bearing archpriests Irenaeus, Abraham, Alexios, Peter, Gerasimos and Arsenios.

Patriarchal Liturgy in Tuman Monastery
24. February 2020 - 11:20His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, celebrated the Holy Liturgy with the concelebration of His Grace Bishop Ignatije of Branicevo at the Tuman Monastery on 23 February 2020.
The monastery church courtyard was full of faithful people. Also Archimandrites Dositej from Grgeteg and Matej from Sisojevac with the clergy concelebrated during the Liturgy.

His Holiness Irinej, the Serbian Patriarch, arrived at the Tuman Monastery on 22 February 2020. His Holiness was welcomed by His Grace Bishop Ignatije of Branicevo with the monastery brotherhood and the faithful people. In his welcoming address, Bishop Ignatije thanked His Holiness for conferring the Patriarchal blessing on the Diocese of Branicevo and the monastery, brotherhood and the faithful people.
