His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch received yesterday, on September 5, 2012 in the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade His Excellency Aleksander Vasiljevich Konuzin, ambassador of the Russian Federation in Serbia.

Reception in the Serbian Patriarchate - August 29, 2012

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch received yesterday on August 29, 2012 in the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade Mr. Bratislav Petkovic, Minister of Culture in the Government of the Republic of Serbia; Mr. Radoslav Pavlovic, advisor to the President of the Republic of Serbia for culture; Mr. Miroslav Tasic, state secretary; Miroslav Jankovic, chief of the cabinet of the Ministry of Culture, with associates. The reception was attended by protopresbyter-staurophor Stojadin Pavlovic, director of the Administration office of the Patriarchate.

His Holiness Irinej received yesterday in the Serbian Patriarchate Their Royal Highnesses Prince Vladimir and Princess Brigitte Karadjordjevic. The reception was attended by His Grace Bishop Andrej of Remesiana.

Bishop Irinej served at the Zemun monastery

Bishop Irinej served the last week the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the monastery of Saint Gabriel the Archangel in Zemun

With the blessing of His Holiness Irinej, the Serbian Patriarch the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the monastery of Saint Gabriel the Archangel in Zemun, for the first time after the death of Professor Dr Radovan Bigovic, was served by Bishop Irinej of the Metropolitanate of Australia and New Zealand, who served in this monastery for many years as hieromonk. On this morning, before the Holy Liturgy, the Bishop visited the grave of priest Radovan of blessed repose  at the Zemun cemetary and served the commemoration.

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy on the feast day of Most Holy Theotokos in the Rakovica monastery with the concelebration of priests of the Archbishopric of Belgrade-Karlovac. On this occasion pious people partook the Holy Communion by His Holiness. Then the Patriarch led the procession, and at the end he cut the slava cake along with Venerable heugomene Eugenia, as well as Mr. Milosav Milickovic, the president of the Rakovica municipality.

Metropolitan Amfilohije meers with Orthodox Bishops in Argentina

His Eminence Archbishop of Cetinje and Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoal and Bishop-administrator of the Diocese of Buenos Aires and South-Central American kyr Amfilohije in separate meetings these days received two Orthodox bishops in the Cathedral church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos in Buenos Aires, the seat of the Diocese of Buenos Aires and South-Central American of the Serbian Patriarchate.

On Friday, August 17, Metropolitan Amfilohije was visited by Bishop John of Caracas and South American (Russian Orthodox Church Abroad) and on Monday, August 20, the Metropolitan and our Cathedral church were visited by Metropolitan Siluan of Buenos Aires and All Argentina (Patriarchate of Antiochia).

Primate of Russian Orthodox Church completes his visit to Poland

On 19 August, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill completed his visit to Poland. Seeing him off at the airport were His Beatitude Metropolitan Sawa of Warsaw and All Poland, hierarchs of the Polish Orthodox Church, and Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Poland, Alexander Alekseyev.
