The feast day of Saint Nicholas in Diocese of Budim

His Grace Bishop Lukijan of Budim celebrated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in a side chapel of Saint Cyril and Methodius in Szentendre on the feast day of Saint Nicholas of Myra, 19 December 2020.

The feast day of Saint Nicholas was celebrated also in other parishes of the Diocese of Budim. The most solemn was in Szentendre, in a Serbian primary school and kindergarten, where priest protonamesnik Dalibor Milenkovic blessed the slava gifts and broke the slava cake with teachers. Students prepared a nice festive program on the occasion of the feast.

Bishop Irinej: Saint Nicholas is an example of meekness, of gentleness, of kindness, of mercy, of all gospel virtues!

His Eminence Bishop Irinej of Backa officiated the Holy Liturgy in the St. George's church in Novi Sad on December 19, 2020, on the feast of St. Nicholas of Myra.

His Grace Bishop Isihije of Mohacs, Archimandrite Serafim (Baltic), a brother of the monastery of New Grachanica, as well as the clergy of the Cathedral church and the deacons of the Diocese of Backa concelebrated to the Bishop. After reading the Gospel pericope, Bishop Irinej said that the person of Saint Nicholas is a rule of faith, an example of fidelity to God and zeal for the faith:

On the feast day of Saint Nicholas of Myra, 19 December 2020, His Grace Bishop Arsenije of Nis officiated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the Cathedral church in Nis. 

The Bishop was concelebrated by protopresbyter-staurophor Milutin Timotijevic, dean of the Seminary Saint Cyril and Methodius Seminary in Nis; protopresbyter-staurophors Miodrag Pavlovic, Borislav Stamenkovic and Vladica Savic, hieromonk Nektarije Djuric, protodeacon Stevan Kricka and deacon Djordje Filipovic.

On 27th Sunday after Pentecost, His Grace Bishop Longin of New Gracanica-Midwestern America officiated the Holy Liturgy in the church of Saint Nicholas in Cudahy, Wisconsin.

The Bishop was concelebrated by local parish priest Nikola Radovancevic and archpriest Radomir Cutilo from Milwaukee, as well as protodeacon Milovan Gogic.

Donation to the hospital in Pozarevac

The brotherhood of the Tuman Monastery with friends sent a donation to the hospital in Pozarevac with the amount of 1,174,000 dinars for the purchase of the necessary equipment for the treatment of COVID-19 and other patients. - This gesture of the brotherhood of the monastery is a sign of love, care and gratitude to the people who renovated the Tuman monastery.
