Crosses and bells of a newly-built church of St. Simeon the Myrrh-Streaming in New Belgrade blessed

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch will serve on Sunday, November 13, 2011 the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the church of St. Simeon the Myrrh-Streaming in New Belgrade beginning at 9 am. On this occasion His Holiness will bless bells and crosses which were given to this newly-built church of God by families Starcevic, Malbasic, Rebrenovic, Trifkovic and Petrovic.

With the blessing of His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch regular services in the church of St. Simeon the Myrrh-Streaming in New Belgrade, in the block 26 (between the Palace of Serbia and Belgrade Arena) began on the Christmas Eve of this year. Priestly brotherhood of the church on feast days and on Sunday serve the Holy Liturgy with a beginning at 09:00, everyday is matin at 08:30  and vigil at 17:00. 

The five-domed church of St. Simeon the Myrrh-Streaming in New Belgrade with a n area of five hundred square meters. When it completes it will be one of the most beautiful Belgrade's churches. Foundations of this church was consecrated by  Patriarch Pavle of blessed repose in 2007.
