OCP Secretariat Declares Support for Patriarch Ignatius Aphrem II of Antioch & All East

Global: We the members of the Secretariat of the Orthodox Cognate PAGE (Pan-Orthodox NGO) have been observing the recent challenges encountered by the Syriac Orthodox Patriarchate. We all have differences in opinion. However, none of these opinions should threaten the unity of the Orthodox Church. May God strengthen His Holiness and the Holy Synod to overcome these challenges.

We support His Holiness Ignatius Aphrem II – Patriarch on the Apostolic Thorn of St. Peter in Antioch and All East and the Syriac Orthodox Patriarchate. His Holiness the Patriarch Ignatius Aphrem II is a great leader, a blessed Prelate in the vineyard of Christ and a bright star in the eastern Horizon.
