OCP Secretariat Slams Anti-Church Law in Montenegro

The Secretariat of Orthodoxy Cognate PAGE (Pan-Orthodox Christian Society) slammed the new anti-Church Law adopted by the Government of Montenegro. George Alexander, Secretary stated that the current law is terrible discrimination against the Serbian Orthodox Church. This is part of an ongoing war against Orthodoxy, he added.

Earlier, a letter of support was published from the desk of George Joseph, Chairman of the OCP Society. The Chairman slammed the aggressive policies of the Montenegrin government. The letter was published on the official portal of the Serbian Church.

The Serbian Church in Montenegro is experiencing a challenging period. According to the recent law, religious communities need to prove that the properties under their possession now, were under their custody prior to 1918.
