Celebration of 20th anniversary of episcopal consecration of Metropolitan Korniliy of Tallinn and All Estonia

September 2010 - 12:41On 15 September 2010, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, head of the Moscow Patriachate's Department for External Church Relations, currently on a visit to Estonia with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, concelebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of St. Alexander Nevsky in Tallinn. The liturgy was celebrated to mark the 20th anniversary of the episcopal consecration of Metropolitan Korniliy of Tallinn and Estonia.

September 2010 - 8:36On 31 August 2010, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, who was on a working visit to the USA with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia and by invitation of His Beatitude Metropolitan Jonah of All America and Canada, met with Ms. Anne Glynn-Mackoul, a member of the World Council of Churches' Committee for Consensus and Cooperation.

Concelebrating were Metropolitan Kallistos of Diokleia, a vicar of Archbishop of Thyateira and Great Britain (Patriarchate of Constantinople), president of the "The Friends of Mount Athos" charity society, clerics of the church, and a well-known Swiss theologian, hieromonk Gabriel (Bunge) who became an Orthodox before the divine service.
