Patriarch Kirill meets with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan

On March 17, 2010, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russian met with President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan at the presidential residence in Yerevan. The head of the state welcomed the Pirmate of the Russian Orthodox Church and Patriarch and Catholicos Karekin II of All Armenians at the entrance to the residence.

Participating in their discussion were also Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate's department for external church relations, and Archbishop Eznik Petrosyan, chairman of the Armenian Apostolic Church's department for external church relations, the patriarchal press service has reported.
