Pentecost Festival at Saint Petka church on Kalemegdan

With the blessing of Patriarch Irinej, on June 20^th, the 9^th Pentecost Festival began. It  lasted until June 25^th.

This traditional manifestation was organized by the Archbishopric of Belgrade-Karlovci and the Ruzica and Saint Petka churches, along with the dean protopresbyter-stavrophor Dr Radomir Popovic and the cooperation of the brotherhoods of these churches and with the effort of protopresbyter-stavrophor Dr Dragomir Sando, professor of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology.

This year’s Pentecost festival is dedicated to the great jubilee – the 1700^th anniversary of the Edict of Milan.

Vicar Bishop Andrej of Remesiana, on behalf of His Holiness, addressed the attendees, while Bishop Dr Jovan of Nis held an academic speech on spiritual dimensions of this document.

Following the speech an interesting art program took place.
