Pope sends 100,000 euros to Albania earthquake victims

Pope Francis showed his solidarity to earthquakes victims in Albania by sending a contribution of 100,000 euros. The money was raised through the Vatican’s Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development and will be used to meet the needs of the earthquake victims.

It is recalled that the Pontiff sent a letter to Albanian President Ilir Meta, stating that he was praying for the souls of those who died in the disaster and that he would be through his prayers by the side of the injured and the victims.
