Representatives of the Serbian Orthodox Church at the formal reception at U.S. Embassy in Belgrade

On the occasion of the Independence Day  of the USA, which is being celebrated on July 4, at the residence of the U.S. embassy on Dedinje there was organized a formal reception of high representatives from all parts of public life - state, religious, cultural and other.

With the blessing of His Hoiiness Patriarch Pavle of Serbia and His Eminence Metropolitan Amfilohije, the Serbian Orthodox Church was represented by His Grace Bishop Irinej of Bachka, His Grace Bishop Irinej of Australia and New Zealand, His Grace Bishop Porfirije of Jegar , and among them also there was Director of the charity fund of the Serbian Orthodox Church " Philanthropy", Dragan Makojevic  and deacon Aleksandar Sekulic, an employee of the Office of His Holiness.
