Russian sailors visit Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral

His Eminence Amfilohije Archbishop of Cetinje and Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral recieved yesterday on Cetinje the officers of the Great assault ship of the  Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Navy " Cesar Kunikov".

The receiption and Sergei Foroponov, the counselor of the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Podgorica Mr. Andrei Nesterenko.

The officers visited Cetinje Monastery and worshipped the relics of Saint Peter of Cetinje, the Hand of Saint John the Baptist and the Particle of the Precious Cross of the Lord.

Metropolitan Amfilohije last night with priests held a service of thanksgiving on the Russian warship in Kotor. He was concelebrated by father Aleksandar, military priest on the ship, protopresbyter-staurophor Momcilo Krivokapic, protosyngellos Kirilo (Bojovic) and protopresbyter Obren Jovanovic.

At the end of thanksgiving Metropolitan Amfilohije addressed the Russian sailors wishing them that their mission to be in a function of peace in the whole world.
