Valuable donation from the Diocese of Banja Luka in the fight against the virus

The Diocese of Banja Luka, headed by His Grace Jefrem, Bishop of Banja Luka, has donated 12 500 special professional protective masks to the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska worth 100.000 Boasnian marks to contribute to the fight against the coronary virus.

The executive director of the University Clinical Centre of the Republic Srpska Dr. Vlado Dajic expressed his gratitude to the Diocese of Banja Luka for a very valuable donation, pointing out that the Serbian Orthodox Church had shown that it is constantly with their people even in the most difficult times.

Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral Amfilohije officiated in Piperi, Montenegro

It was on 25th April 2020 that His Eminence Amfilohije, Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral, officiated the Holy archhierarchal Liturgy at the foundations of the church of Theotokos of the Life-giving Spring in Djevic-grad settlement in Piperi, Montenegro.

“This is one of the spots that witness to the power of Our Lord Jesus Christ,  the Resurrected Lord, and the place that was born out of that Temple of Solomon we heard about from the Acts of the Apostles as the apostles Peter and James had healed the paralyzed one. And then the Jews marveled at the miracle, and Peter told them that they did not perform this themselves, but the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who had sent his Only-begotten Son Whom you crucified, but He rose from the dead. His Grace Bishop Isihije of Mohacs celebrated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy at St George church in Novi Sad on Sunday of Thomas, 26 April 2020. The Bishop was concelebrated by local clergy of the Cathedral church and deacons of Novi Sad. His Grace Bishop Irinej of Backa attended the Liturgy.
