The Holy and Great Martyr George, patron saint of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff

The Holy Glorious and Great-martyr George, patron saint (slava) of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, was celebrated on 6th of May in the chapel of the military quarter “Banjica 2” in Belgrade in presence of the Minister of Defense, Mr. Aleksandar Vulin, the commander of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, general Milan Mojsilovic, and members of the collegium of Ministers and commanders of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff.

The celebration of St George’s Day began with the Holy Liturgy, officiated by the chief military priest, lieutenant colonel Sladjan Vlajic, followed by a traditional consecration of the slava offers and breaking of the slava loaf.

Basketball player Vucevic donated Church soup kitchens

Nikola Vucevic, a famous basketball player from Bar,  Montenegro, a member of the Orlando and Montenegrin basketball teams, has recently given a financial donation to the soup kitchens of the Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral.

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch celebrated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the monastery of Entry of the Most Holy Theotokos into the Temple in Belgrade on Sunday of the Myrrhbearers, May 3rd, 2020.

Liturgical gathering on Sunday of the Myrrhbearers in Dusseldorf

His Grace Bishop Grigorije of Dusseldorf and Germany celebrated the Holy Hierarchal  Liturgy at the Cathedral church in Dusseldorf on the Sunday of the Myrrhbearers, 3 May 2020.  

Due to the large number of believers and for  for the most accurate observance of the law of worship issued by the provincial authorities of the Republic of Germany, the Liturgy was celebrated in the courtyard of the church.

Prayerful remembrance of Bishop Danilo (Krstic)

On Sunday of Thomas, 26 April 2020, His Grace Bishop Lukijan of Budim celebrated the Holy Hiearchal Liturgy with the concelebration of clergy and monks at the Cathedral church in Szentendre.

At the end of the Holy Liturgy His Grace Bishop Lukijan served the memorial service for the Bishop Danilo Krstic, Phd of blessed repose, his predecessor, whose 18th anniversary of his death was on April 20th (Easter Monday of this year).

Memorial service for innocent victims of the NATO bombing in Murina, Montenegro

On the occasion of the annual memorial of the NATO bombing in Murina in 1999, where six residents of that small town were killed, presbyter Bojan Radunovic, parish priest of the Upper Lim and Gusinja , officiated the Holy Liturgy on 30th April 2020 at the church of Venerable Mother Parasceva the Serb in Murina, Montenegro.
