On Tuesday, December 5/18, 2018, His Beatitude our Father and Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos attended a Christmas ceremony held by the Churches of Jordan, under His Majesty the King of Jordan Abdullah Ibn Hussein, protector of the Muslim and Christian shrines in Jerusalem. The event took place at the Cultural Centre of the Prefecture in Amman, in order to underline and support the peaceful co-existence between Muslims and Christians in Jerusalem as a reference of their identity and in honour of the Christmas Feast.

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, received Mr. Vladan Vukosavljevic, Minister of Culture and Information at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade on December, 20th, 2018.

The audience was attended by Bishop Stefan of Remesiana, Vicar of the Serbian Patriarch and the dean of the Saint Sava Cathedral in the district of Vracar; Mr. Goran Vesic, Mayor Deputy of Belgrade; Mr. Branislav Maricic, head of the Office of the Minister of Culture and Information; and deacon Dr. Aleksandar Prascevic, the Head of the Office of the Serbian Patriarch.

On the occasion of the Patron Saint-day of the church, His Holiness Irinej, the Serbian Patriarch, officiated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in Saint Nicholas church in Zemun on 19 December 2018.

The Patriarch was concelebrated by protopresbyter-staurophors Dragomir Sando and Milorad Niskic, protonamesnik Drasko Tepavac, presbyter Vladimir Prasic, protodeacon Stevan Rapajic and deacons Dragan Tanasijevic and Ivo Faranov.

On the feast day of Saint Nicholas, the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy was served by His Grace Bishop Dimitrije of Zahumlje-Herzegovina with the concelebration of priests and monks from many dioceses at the Tvrdos Monastery.

After the Holy Gospel Reading, Bishop Atanasije held a sermon. After the blessing of slava cake and wheat Bishop Dimitrije greeted all the present and congratulated slava to Bishop Atanasije and all who celebrate it.

His Holiness Irinej, the Serbian Patriarch, received His Excellency Harry Richard James Kandou, the Ambassador of Indonesia to the Republic of Serbia at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade on 17 December 2018.

His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia christened young Prince Stefan, the son of Their Royal Highnesses Prince Philip and Princess Danica, at the Royal Chapel of St. Andrew the First-Called in the Royal Compound in Dedinje, Belgrade, Serbia.

Joining the Patriarch in officiating the christening was His Grace Bishop Lavrentije of Sabac who married TRH Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine in 1985, and also christened Princes Philip and Alexander.
