The Feast day in Sopocani Monastery

His Grace Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren celebrated the Vigil service and the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the Monastery of Sopocani, on the feast day of the Descent of the Holy Spirit unto the Apostles - Pentecost.

Bishop Teodosije, before the feast day, was welcomed by the brotherhood of the Sopocani Monastery, clergy of the Diocesan Deanery of Novi Pazar and the faithful people that gathered in this monastery to celebrate the church slava. On the day of the feast, the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy was served. The Bishop was concelebrated by abbot of the Sopocani Monastery Teoktist, abbot Andrej of the Black River Monastery, hieromonk Isidor from the Monastery of Saint John the Theologian near Pirot and deacon Milutin Popadic.

Patriarch Porfirije: How can world understand us if we are not a community initiated by the Holy Spirit

  His Holiness Porfirije, Serbian Patriarch celebrated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the Russian church of Holy Trinity at Tasmajdan Parkm the Representation of the Russian Orthodox Church in Belgrade on 21 June 2021, on Whit Monday. 

During the Holy Liturgy the Patriarch awarded a brother of the Holy Archangels Monastery in Kovilj hieromonk Jerotej (Pavlovic), elected Vicar Bishop of Toplica, with the rank of Archimandrite.

Holy Pentecost in Frankfurt

The Feast day of the Descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles - Pentecost was solemnly celebrated with the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy officiated by Bishop Grigorije of Dusseldorf and Germany in the church of the Resurrection of the Lord in Frankfurt. 

The Bishoo was concelebrated by Diocesan dean for South Germany protopresbyter-staurophor Aleksandar Skoric from Karlsrue, protopresbyter-staurophor Milenko Markovic from Villingen-Schwenningen, head of the Frankfurt church protopresbyter-staurophor Simon Turkic, archpriest Slobodan Tijanic, protonamesnik Nedjeljko Djokic, and deacons Sladjan Marinkovic and Dejan Ristic. 

On the feast day of Holy Pentecost in the Cathedral church of Novi Sad

On Sunday of the Holy Pentecost, 7 June 2021, His Grace Bishop Irinej of Novi Sad and Backa, officiated the Holy Liturgy with the concelebration of the elected Bishop Isihije of Valjevo, brotherhood of the Cathedral church and deacons of Novi Sad, at the Cathedral church of Novi Sad.

Following the end of the Liturgy, a festal Vesper service of the Holy Pentecost was celebrated, when prayers were read. 

At the regular May session of the Holy Assembly of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church, in 2021, the former Bishop Isihije of Mohacs, former Vicar of Bishop of Dr Irinej of Novi Sad and Backa, was elected the new Bishop of Valjevo. The enthronement of the newly elected Bishop of Valjevo will be on Sunday, June 27, as part of the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy, which will begin at 9 am, in the Church of Christ's Resurrection in Valjevo. On that occasion, the Bishop Irinej of Backa, wished Bishop Isihije all the best in the service entrusted to him in the Diocese of Valjevo.

Serbian Patriarch received a high official of the Government of the Russian Federation

His Holiness Porfirije, the Serbian Patriarch, received His Excellency Alexander Grushko, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, at the Patriarchal Palace in Belgrade, on June 18, 2021.

Patriarch Porfirije and Deputy Minister Mr. Grushko in an open and friendly conversation expressed satisfaction with the strong friendly relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Russian Federation, which are reflected at all levels. Patriarch Porfirije pointed out several important joint projects, crowned with Russian participation in the interior decoration of the Saint Sava Memorial Cathedral in the Vracar district, and thanked the Russian Federation for its support and understanding on the problems facing the Serbian Orthodox Church in the southern Serbian province of Kosovo and Metohija.

Kragujevac: Prayеrful remembrance of Bishop Sava Vukovic

- Throughout the entire ministry of Bishop Sava in the Serbian Church, and in twenty-four years at the most in Sumadija, we see and feel the fruits of his sacrifice even more clearly, Bishop Jovan stressed.

On Thursday, 17 June 2021, when it is twenty years since the repose of the second Bishop of Sumasija, Sava Vukovic, His Grace Bishop Jovan of Sumadija served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the Cathedral church of the Dormition of the Most Holy Mother of God in Kragujevac.
