2012 Diocesan Days in Canada Held

Over three thousand Serbs gathered at Holy Transfiguration Monastery in Milton on Sunday, June 10 for the Diocesan Day celebration, the largest of our faithful in Canada.

Consecration of the cross in Serbian Orthodox monastery of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos in Smedjeryds kloster

On Sunday, June 10, 2012 the Orthodox people gathered in the monastery of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos in Smedjeryds kloster, Sweden. After the Holy Liturgy in the monastery chapel His Grace Bishop Dositej of Britain-Scandinavia consecrated a new cross which would be placed on the tower of Saint John of Shanghai. 

Slava of Holy Trinity Orthodox Monastery in Bredared

His Grace Bishop Dositej of Britain-Scandinavia came to the slava of the Orthodox monastery of Holy Trinity in Bredared, Sweden. The monastery is located near Borås and it was founded in 2001. 

The founder of the monastery is Orthodox Sweden, Archimandrite Dorotej (Forsner), who is the head of the monastery. 

Patriarch Irinej serves in the church of Ruzica at Kalemegdan

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch served on Sunday, June 17, the Liturgy in the church of Ruzica at Kalemegdan. He was concelebrated by the brotherhood of the church with chanting of the choir "Stankovic". 

Baptism in Zemun's church of Holy Trinity

On Sunday, June 17, 2012 the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy was served in the church of Holy Trinity in Zemun by His Grace vicar Bishop of Atanasije of Hvosno. At the same time, the Bishop baptized and gave communion to twenty pupils of the nearby schools of Zemun.
