On Friday, March 9, 2012 His Grace Bishop Andrej of Remesiana, vicar of Serbian Patriarch Irinej served the Liturgy of Presanctified Gifts in the church of St. Great Martyr of George in Cukarica. His Grace was concelebrated by local priests.

Memorial service for Zoran Djindjic in Nis

On March 12, 2012, in the Cathedral church of Nis the memorial service for the suffered prime minister of Serbia Zoran Djindjic was served. The memorial service was served by His Grace Bishop Dr Jovan of Nis with the concelebration of local priests. The memorial service was attended by city officials, presidents of local municipalities and many believers.

His Grace Bishop Vasilije of Zvornik-Tuzla served on the feast day of Venerable Procopius of Decapolis the Holy Hiearchal Liturgy in Pilica. He was concelebrated by local priests. After the Liturgy he held a sermon.

The Bishop also consecrated the parish house in Pilica.

Patriarch Irinej supports humanitarian work of Vlade Divac

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch received yesterday at Patriarchate of Serbia in Belgrade famous basketball player Vlade Divac and his spouse Ana, the founders of the Humanitarian foundation Ana and Vlade Divac which help the refugees, internally displaced persons and the neglected to exercise their right to home, gain financial security and better prospects and to live again a decent and dignified lives that they deserve.

Sunday of St. Gregory Palamas in Dragovic

On Sunday, March 11, 2012 His Grace Bishop Fotije of Dalmatia served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in Dragovic monastery with the concelebration of monastery brothers.

In his sermon Bishop Fotije spoke on St. Gregory Palamas, the teacher of Orthodoxy and the theologian.
