Ceremony regarding the Statehood Day

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch accompanied by vicar Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno attended the central ceremony regarding the Statehood Day, which was held at the House of the National Assembly in Belgrade on February 15, 2012. On this occasion President of the Republic of Serbia Boris Tadic handed to prominent individuals and institutions for for outstanding achievements in the field of sports, culture, security, medicine and science.
Dr Dragutin Trickovic receives Order of Saint Sava of the Third degree

The Holy Holy Hierarchal Liturgy of the Serbian Orthodox Church gave primarius Dr Dragutin Trickovic, director of the Dr Vukan Čupić Mother and Child Health Care Institute of Serbia in New Belgrade, with the highest distinction of the Serbian Orthodox Church - Order of Saint Sava of the Third Degree, for active love for the Holy Mother Church and persistent testimony of Resurrected Christ. On the feast day of Sretenje Dr Trickovic was awarded with this order by His Grace Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno, vicar of His Holiness, on the behalf and with the blessing of His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch.
Celebration of the Sretenje in Orasac

The celebration of the Sretenje (Meeting of the Lord) in Orasac also this year commenced with the Divine Liturgy which was led by His Grace Bishop Jovan of Sumadija, with the concelebration of local priests. The service of God waa attended by Crown Prince Alexander Karadjordjevic with his spouse Katherine.
All Night Vigil in Ljubostinja monastery on the eve of Saint Three Hierarchs

On the eve of Synaxis of Holy Three Hierarchs, on February 11, 2012 in the monastery of Ljubostinja the All Night vigil service was served. The vigil began with the coming of the relics of Saint Great Martyr Lazar of Kosovo from the church of Lazarica. After the little vesper service and mobelen to Holy Serbian martyrs and New Martyrs there was a table of love in the guesthouse of the monastery of Ljubistinja. Following that the All Night Vigil service was continued and it was finished with the Liturgy of Saint John Chrysostom and the act of panagia in the dining room of Ljubostinja.
