During several-days visit to Diocese of Budimlje-Niksic on Saturday, July 30 on the feast day of St. Marina the Great Martyr in the afternoon hours he was visiting Zabljak.

Tonight in a canonical visit to the Diocese of Budimlje-Niksic His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch arrived in the Djurdjevi Stupovi monastery, the seat of the Diocese of Budimlje-Niksic. The Patriarch was welcomed at the monastery Djurdjevi Stupovi, the seat of the Diocese of Budimlje-Niksic was welcomed by His Grace Bishop Joanikije of Budimlje-Niksic with many priests of hierarchal regency of Berane-Andrijevica, monks of the Monastery and faithful people, who fulfilled the courtyard of the ancient Nemanjic's endowment.

Patriarch Irinej serves in St. Peter and Paul church in Bijelo Polje, and then visits Mojkovac and Zabljak

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch served this morning within his first official visit to the Diocese of Budimlje-Niksic, the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the church of St. Peter and Paul the Apostles in Bijelo Polje, and then visited Mojkovac where in in the church of Nativity of Christ a solemn welcome was organized. Patriarch Irinej was welcomed then in the church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Zabljak.

With priests of the Piva area, Patriarch Irinej tonight served the solemn Vesper service at the Piva monastery, and tomorrow (31.07) after solemn welcome at 8.30 am at the Saka Petrovic square in Niksic, His Holiness will serve with many Bishops and priest of our local Church the Divine Liturgy in the Cathedral church of St. Basil of Ostrog in Niksic with a beginning at 9 am.

70 years since the genocide in the Independant State of Croatia

The members of the association St. Margaret of Livanj and SNS Prebilovci together with compatriots and relatives of Serbian New Martyrs gathered today in the Belgrade church of St. Mark to prayerfully mark the 70th anniversary of suffering, the  most terrible pogrom and genocide of the Serbian Orthodox people on territories of Herzegovina, Banija, Lika, Kordun, Dalmatia, Slavonia...

St. Gabriel the Archangel solemnly welcomed in Zemun

In St. Gabriel the Archangel in Zemun the Patron Saint's Day of this holy family. The Holy Hierarchal Liturgy was served with the blessing of His Grace Vicar Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno with the concelebration of the priesthood of churches of Zemun. After the Holy Liturgy, Bishop Atanasije cut the slava cake which was prepared this year by presbyter Nebojsa Topolic with family.
