Serbian Patriarch IRINEJ in Krusevac

His Holiness IRINEJ, Serbian Patriarch, on the way to Gracanica, visited Krusevac on June 27, 2010 where he served the Divine Liturgy in the youngest church of Krusevac, the church of the Holy Protection of the Theotokos, with the concelebration of priesthood of Krusevac and archimandrite Aleksej (Bogicevic), and in the presense of the mayor and other city representatives.

It was a great joy for the citizens of Krusevac because His Holiness did a great honor for them visiting Krusevac on the eve of the Saint Vitus' Day which is celebrated in Krusevac as the City Day, the all Serbian day of prayerful remembrance on the holy sacrifice of Serbian Prince Lazar and the Serbian people, and serving the Liturgy in the Holy Protection of the Theotokos church, built by the springs of the Most Holy Theotokos and St. Petka.
