Intangible Cultural Heritage: Singing to Accompaniment of Gusla
14. December 2018 - 2:00As stated in the official UNESCO’s report, Singing to the Accompaniment of the Gusle was inscribed on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2018.
During the thirteenth session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage that took place at Port Louis, Republic of Mauritius, from Monday 26 November to Saturday 1 December 2018 at the Swami Vivekananda International Convention Centre (SVICC), it was decided that Singing to the Accompaniment of the Gusle will enter UNESCO’s List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Over the six days, the twenty-four States Members of the Committee, elected by the General Assembly of the 2003 Convention, have discussed a number of issues that are important for the safeguarding of living heritage around the world. On this occasion, the agenda of the meeting included the issue “Inscriptions on the Lists”, which led to the expansion of the List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage.
Prince Stefan baptized by Patriarch Irinej
15. December 2018 - 21:57His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia christened young Prince Stefan, the son of Their Royal Highnesses Prince Philip and Princess Danica, at the Royal Chapel of St. Andrew the First-Called in the Royal Compound in Dedinje, Belgrade, Serbia.
Joining the Patriarch in officiating the christening was His Grace Bishop Lavrentije of Sabac who married TRH Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine in 1985, and also christened Princes Philip and Alexander.

14. December 2018 - 14:27The Royal Family of Serbia celebrated today its Patron Saint’s Day – St. Andrew the First Called, at the Royal Palace in Belgrade.
The hosts are Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine, together with their family – TRH Prince Philip, Princess Danica, Prince Stefan and Prince Alexander, and the celebration at the Palace was attended by the religious leaders, members of the Advisory Bodies of the Crown, as well as by the friends of the Royal Family.

7. December 2018 - 15:17On Sunday, November 25, 2018 the parishioners of the St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church in Salt Lake City celebrated their Church Slava.
His Grace Bishop Maxim arrived on the eve of the feast and was given a warm welcome. Following the evening vesper service, the faithful had an opportunity to visit and talk with His Grace Bishop Maxim.
