VERY REV. DRAGOLJUB C. MALICHThe Very Rev. Protopresbyter-Stavrophor Dragoljub C. Malich, who died peacefully and with a slight smile on his face on April 19, 2021 was born on April 26, 1936 in Rekavice, Banja Luka, in what is today the Republika Srpska section of Bosnia-Hercegovina and was then the Royal Kingdom of Yugoslavia, to the late Cedomir Malic, Chetnik Resistance Fighter against the Nazi occupiers and Communist revolutionaries during WW II, and Radojka (nee Balaban) Malic.

On the Fifth Sunday of Lent, the Sunday of St. Mary of Egypt, His Grace Bishop Maxim of Western America visited St. Petka Serbian Church in San Marcos. Concelebrating with His Grace were Protopresbyter Rev. Milovan Katanic, the parish priest along with the parish Deacon David Williams and Episcopal Deacon Vladan Radovanovic.

Feast day in Monastery of the Dormition of the Holy Mother of God in Djunis

On the fifth Sunday of the Holy Lent in Djunis, His Grace Bishop Arsenije of Nis served the Holy Liturgy of Saint Basil the Great in the monastery of the Dormition of the Most Holy Mother of God in Djunis.

The Bishop was concelebrated by Archimandrite Prokopije (Tajap), cleric of the Patriarchate of Antioch, archpriest Bratislav Vukicevic, Diocesan Dean of Aleksinac; protopresbyter-staurophor Ljubisa Nedeljkovic, retired parish priest; presbyter Marko Nikolic, parish priest of Vlasotince; hierodeacon Nikolaj Jocic and deacon Djordje Filipovic.

Bishop Vasilije of Srem served in Fenek Monastery

On the 5th Sunday of Easter Lent, 18 April 2021, Bishop Vasilije of Srem officiated the solemn Liturgy in the Fenek Monastery.

The Bishop was concelebrated by Archimandrite of Fenek Makarije, Diocesan dean of Zemun archpriest Strahinja Golijan, parish priest of Batajnica protonamesnik Radoje Vesic, parish priest of Dobanovac presbyter Bojan Vesic, hierodeacon Marko of Fenek and deacon Goran Vlasac.

The renovation of the Cathedral church in Zagreb has begun

Preparations are underway for the beginning of works on the building of the Church Community

On April 14, 2021, the first phase of works on the renovation of the Church of the Transfiguration in Zagreb began, which was severely damaged in last year's earthquake (March 22). Emergency rehabilitation is performed according to the project of prof. Josip Galic and the architectural bureau Radionica statike, while the works are performed by the company Texo Molior.
