Slava of Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Belgrade

In the chapel of Saint John the Chrysostom the slava of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology of the University of Belgrade was celebrated.
The Holy Liturgy was served by His Grace Bishop Irinej of Metropolitanate of Australia-New Zealand with the concelebration of His Grace Bishop David of Krusevac, protopresbyter-staurophor professor Dr Predrag Puzovic, dean of the Faculty; as well as a few priests - professors, lecturers and assistants. The Liturgy was attended by Their Graces Bishops Irinej of Backa, Maxim of Western America and Porfirije of Jegar, as well as many guests and students of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology.
Ordination at the Orthodox Archbishopric of Ohrid

On the feast day of Holy Martyr Tecla, in the monastery of Saint John Chrysostom in Bitolj the Holy Hiearchal Liturgy was led by His Grace Bishop David of Stobi and Locum tenens of Strumica with the concelebration of priests of the Orthodox Archbishopric of Ohrid and the Diocese of Nis. On this occasion, Bishop David ordained hypodeacon Marko Manojlic a deacon.
Bishop Milutin in Dupljaj

On Sunday eighteenth after Pentecost, on October 7, 2012 His Grace Bishop Milutin of Valjevo served the Holy Liturgy in Dupljaj. The occasion for hierarchal visit to this parish was blessing of the frescoes in the church of Saint Sava and consecration of the parish house. Bishop was concelebrated by monks and priests of the Diocese of Valjevo.
Scholarships for students of the Prizren Seminary

Aleksandr Torshin, the first Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Russian Assembly with associates visited Prizren and the Sts. Cyrill and Methodius Seminary. As the president of the International Humanitarian Foundation for Preservation of Christian Sacred Places in Kosovo and Metohija "Saint Sabbas the Sanctified Foundation" personally presented scholarships to 25 students of the Seminary in the presence of Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren, the rector of the Seminary, and professors of the school.
Iveron Icon To Visit East Coast

October 2012 - 9:47With the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America and New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad and His Eminence Archbishop Kyrril of San Francisco and Western America, the Myrrh-streaming “Hawaiian” Iveron Icon of the Mother of God will be brought to the continental US in honor of the 5th anniversary of the appearance of the Myrrh-Streaming Icon itself, the five year celebration of the Re-unification of the Russian Orthodox Church, the 15th anniversary of the martyrdom of Br. Jose Munoz, and the 30th anniversary of the finding of the Montreal Iveron Icon.
