Solemn opening of Andricgrad

On the occasion of the centenary of the beginning of the First World War and the Sarajevo Assasination Andricgrad was  solemnly opened in attendance of the highest officials of Republic of Srpska and Serbia in Visegrad, on 28 June 2014.

By cutting the red tape Prime Minister of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, President of Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik and film director Emir Kusturica solemnly opened cultural and historic center - Andricgrad. 

Earlier that day, in the church of Holy Prince Lazar and Kosovo Martyrs Serbian Patriarch Irinej served the Divine Liturgy. Crown Prince Alexander  and Princess Katherine Karadjordjevic. Minister of Labour of Republic of Srpska Petar Djokic, Academician Matija Beckovic and Emir Kusturica. 

"Todaz is a great day. This is the first great celebration of Saint Vitus Day (Vidovdan) through which we see peace and presence of God in this people and in the world which has been maden by his hands", the Patriarch sait to the present people.
